Gee guys, why don't you get heated gloves? Either Gerbings or Harley-Davidson's (which are made by Gerbing). These are about $165 USD. I just got them and it solved all my cold finger problems.
Regards,
Richard
I ride with the windshield, heated gloves, heated jacket liner, heated grips, and the deflectors........... Works well

This side of the pond you can at least double that ... plus I needed them yesterday ! What I did worked fine (it usually stays above 40F here) so i'll get some cheap waterproof gloves and maybe the wind deflectors. With better planning and a longer ride i'd be getting a heated vest to keep my core warm and heated gloves.

If you get the heated jacket liner vs the vest, all you have to do is plug the gloves into the end of the sleeves. I asure you, you do not want to mess with threading the wires through your clothing just to go for a ride.
Since you already have a winshield, you'll like the added protection of the deflectors, especially in damp/wet weather.
