lil Gremlin bastids...
I'm getting yet another back tire put on today. Last night I went out to take off my chrome axle nut covers I put on so the guy changin the tire would'nt have to mess with em. Pulled my saddlebags off and the right side axle nut cover was gone...I thought hmmmmm...musta vibrated loose...looked at other side and it was gone too. I can't think of anywhere I mighta been that anyone with a small allen wrench could've snatched em real quick and I came up with nothing. Coulda sworn they were there the day before..Anyway..they're gone and it's a mystery...pretty sure I used a drop of locktite on 'em too....damned lil gremlin fuggers...

The solution is to find the nearest neighbor with a bike and sneak over and cut his bell off. The gremlins will go straight for his bike, leaving yours alone.
I lost a really nice Maltise cross 3"x 3"made out of1/8" stainless and formed to fit over my horn cover. Never did find it and always wondered if it ended up in the radiator of a new Mercedes going innocently down the road (like a throwing star).
Somewhere there is a black hole that has all of our $hit.

Lost my gear shift lever doing 45MPH and the Chevy Blazer behind me almost caught it w/ his windshield!. He actually pulled over when I did and went back and got it for me!!!Thank God I wasn't a lead dog in a Poker Run! Also, anyone seen my Hot Toppers. Gremlin bastids.. .
