Ok, I absolutely love my Rinehart 2:1 exhaust...the sound, the power, the looks...pretty much everything except I want a black exhaust. I got a quote from Jet Hot to do the ceramic coat for $300 and shipping. I can afford it but I'm having a hard time spending that much. I can almost buy a new exhaust for that price.
So, before I have them do it...I want to see what other exhaust systems out there offering a black (coated) exhaust.
The Only thing out there for 300.00 is the Vance & Hines Short Shots Everything Else that is Decent is around 500.00.... send yer Reinhart 2 into 1 out to Jet Hot... Ya know ya love that ..
Bry, this guy http://www.performancecoatings.com/did some heat shields for me in black ceramic, they came out great and it wasnt alot. Think I paid $100 to have them done.

I'll probably just have the Rinehart done. I'm not looking for an exhaust for $300...price is no object for me, wellkinda (I just have a hard time spending money). LOL I'll spend it if I want something bad enough but shop around first.

Vance and Hines has a new line comming/came out thats all black. Its very nice looking you can check it out at there website. I run v&H now and i'll have to admit, i love the sound of the rineharts though if i could afford them id run them.
I know you probably don't want to hear this but for $300 you can paint them yourself about 100 times.High heat paint is allot better than it used to be it's possible to get a really nice finish if you buy quality paint and do the prep work. For around $60 you can wrap and paint it yourself.
Just want to tell Special Ed. Sweet bike. I have black on my Rinehart cross backs. Noone knows how they will hold up yet. At least I haven't heard yet. I have heard high heat quality black works wonders. That is from a few buddies that are running different pipes with alot more mile than I have.

I've seen them...nothing really sparked my interest. Thanks for the input though.

LOL Yeah, thanks but I'd rather have it done professionally. I'm that type that usually learns from mistakes the first time around. I dont want to learn from a mistake on my new Rineharts. LOL
