Been good John. Looks like ya went with 13's ? Your base looks much better than mine. Mine was to wide and doesen't look to good IMO. Need a wider clamp to cover it up since I did 1 1/4 " bars.

Soon spring will be here and we can check out our winter projects in person. The install was a learning experience.
I'm glad that I did it myself because ther's no way that the dealer would have payed as much attention to detail as I did.
Maybe an indy shop would have but as of yet I haven't found a good one in my area.

I'll second ya on the detail aspect. My indy guy is good, but it wasn't a job worth paying someone else to do.I let him do any type of engine or tranny modifiacations and that's about it.The rest is up to me to booger up...............

Sorry to hijack your thread man. My stock risers are something like 1-2"'s . With my extended cables I could easily go another 2"s higher in height. If your running drags with 9" risers you may be able to do Street Bob mini apes without switching cables.

Thanks man. I think i'm going to go with 16 inch apes with an 8 inch base and 3 inch risers. I was thinkin about the mini apes but I want to go much higher than that. It seems 8 inch base is about the smallest I can find.

I have the 1 1/2" Big Buffalo bars, 16" height. The ride is so much better with them.
