Default Not new just search problem
I must be wording it wrong in the search. I am trying to find the info on the best way to cleanmy chrome on my Rinehart exhaust heat shields from where my chaps and pants have burned and left marks. Any help. Trying not to scratch them if possible. Thanks

I am digging through the cabinets and looking. Anyone tried Mr. Clean eraser? It does not mention chrome. Not sure if I am up for experimenting on my ride.

I've used the magic eraser to remove tar and heavt bug guts. They work great. Didn't hurt the chrome on my fork tubes or my V&H.

I think ezrider means simichrome. Yeah that's good schtuff. If you have some Bonami around (sort of like Comet but lots easier of stuff) I'd try that. Like the box says "hasn't scratched yet" but works good at getting off stuff that don't belong there. Use it like Comet, sprinkle some on a wet rag and polish the junk off.
