Alright dumb question, I am not near my bike right now but I was wondering how to adjust the 412's. They are on my bike and I do have the little clamp deal that comes with it but do I need to remove to adjust or can I adjust while they are on the bike??? stupid I know but I can't play with the bike for a bit so I was curious to know
Mine said it came with lube......didn't find it anywhere in the box (but I did find 2 dents!). I just sprayed a little WD40 to loosen it up and it turned fine.

They twist with the tool, the teeth engage the holes, unfortunately they are not numbered with their settings like the Harley ones so you cant tell the setting by looking. I am thinking of marking mine somehow, cant decide how though. Maybe an engraving tool but I am afraid the chrome would peel.
Thanks guys, Yeah I am bummed out that they are not marked. How the effe do you know where they are set then?
Mine came set at the lowest/softest setting. They only have 3 or maybe 4 clicks of adjustment just count the clicks. You can also see by looking at the back of the shock that they go up or down about 1/4 inch with each click.
