I wanted a LR when I bought my bob. So I ended up buying a left over 07 Bob instead of a new 08. Of course I like the bars on the Bob better anyway and I got a pretty decent discount and free accessories. With the accessories I got the stock LR seat, ect... Anyway, I know its still a Bob, but I always get asked if its a lowrider.
I have to admit I did things a little bass akwards. I rode metric's until I was 32 yrs old. Then sold everything. March of this year I got the bug again and decided to buy a bike. I haven't had a bike now for 22 years. Didn't think I'd ever own a HD. But I rode a sporty and like it. Then one day I saw an 07 Low Rider on the stealer's show room floor. Price was reduced about $1700 off of list. I didn't know a Dyna from a Fatboy or Street Glide. I took it for a test drive and fell in love! Bought it that day.
After riding with some guys I got to wondering if I did the right thing. So I rented a Street glide for a day. Then a Fatboy for one day. Both are nice bikes but my Dyna just fits me for the kind of riding I do. Couldn't be happier.
Now for the modifications! StageI air cleaner, KW 3" HP slip-ons.
I got a 09 lowrider. The last hear they made it. I love it. Love the chrome parts. Not into the blacked out bikes for myself. Love to look at them. But I love the flash of chrome!! And I think the name is cool too lol
