Remember this....the dealers are always doing their job and trying to get you for everything they can. If you're not torturing them and pitting them against each other you're not doing your job. Take your time and visit a few shops several times each before accepting any deal. My dealer hated me by the time we inked the deal......do I care? Nope [8D]

If you are considering a Super Glide over the Super Glide Custom due to price, I would recommend going with the Super Glide Custom for a little more. The true fat bob tank and key switch console are worth the price difference alone. I have read a lot of posts on here over the past year of Super Glide buyers wishing they would have bought the Custom due to the price of moving the Speedo and adding the chrome that is standard on the custom.

not me, I just recently bought an 08 Super glide and I love it, I looked at the custom and I do not like the spoked wheels, I had all that chrome on my Lowrider,so I know how miserableit is to have to shine chrome, there is just the right amount of chrome on my super glide, And I also do not like the tank setup, other then that they are the same bike. I am glad I didnt get the custom...

^ Yeah, I'm not one of those, either. I prefer the instruments in front of me. Never liked the tank speedo. But that's just me.

Plus, I really liked the aircraft-style fuel cap on the FXD... Still do, after 15 months with the bike.
