I went with the BootDR mini-boards from J&P. They are not cheap but very well made. So far I love them and I love the shape and size. One Note--- You may need to get some peg extensions(I did) because the boards, if they are the peg-mount type can fold up and hit the pipes or motor. I got the Kury 1 1/4 inch and they did the trick.
Jason,
Look at what Jharp has, that is them. Mine are a bit flatter, but they are adjustable in just about every position possible so you can find a hieght and angle that works for you.
I like them!
A couple questions:
Once you get them where you want them, do you need to use Loctight to keep them in place?
Do they fold up when you scrape on a turn?
Can you stand up on themif going over a bump?
I used a few drops of Loctight, Yes the right one scrapes the most and it does fold up. Before I had them one it was the heal of my boot that scraped. Not sure which scares me more. I've never stood on them, might be kind of hard because of the forward location.
I bought them from J&P, after I got them saw them somewhere else for about 1/2 the $. Oh well.
I really like them, I'm 5' 8" and felt stretched out before, much nicer, can move feet around to several positions.
JHARP, I wonder if the kuryakyn offsets would help you out. They are not just extensions but are shaped like a Z and allow you to adjust a peg/board with great precision. The only thing I would question is whether having that much load on that much of an extension? Not sure butthought Id throw it out there. Thanks
The floorboards came with a dog bone shaped extension. I thought it moved themout to far and even lower. I just bolted them straight to the peg mount. I happy with them as is.
