Default New Bike

Well after 3 months of going around and around trying to work out what the hell I want, I've finally made up my mind and after discussing it with the local dealer, will be putting a deposit on a Superglide custom tomorrow (if the price is right)
It's brilliant silver with the spoke wheels. Other options I'm ordering with the bike are:

Filter, Slip-ons and remap
Forward controls (I'm really tall)
Forward Control extensions(I'm really really tall)
Tallboy seat (I'm sooo tall)
Mini apes (same size as Wide glide)
Braided brake lines
Alarm

Hopefully I'll be on the bike in a week.

Can't wait...Will post pics when I've got it.

Jim

The Super Glide Custom is a GREAT choice. You won't be disappointed.

In the meantime here's some eye candy for you...

Congratulations tall Jim!

You'll love it.
Living in a cold climate I'll have to wait 2 months before I can enter the road.
Enjoy!

Congrats on the new bike, Jim! Sounds like you'll be making a lot of MODS right out of the gate. I'm planning on switching to mini apes on my 05 Low Rider too. I like that look. Come on Spring!

Today I stepped across the line, put the deposit down and signed the contract this morning.

I sat on her (hmmm, have to think of a name for her) with the current setup (std everything except lowered suspension). Strangely the mid-mounts weren't that bad, and the bike felt very rideable.

Added a few last minute extras also. The final list of accessories is:

Stage 1 filter kit
ECU download
SE 2 Slash down cromes
Tallboy seat
HD Forward controls
Forward Control extensions 2"
10" Ape hangers
HD Diamondback braided clutch, throttle & brakeline kits
Detatchable sideplates, docking kit and medallion sissy bar with top stitched backrest pad (smooth)
Turn signal relocation kit
Saddlebags detatchable & Supports (aftermarket)
Heated chrome handgrips

New Arai lid

Now all I can do is sit and wait...

I 'd say I'll be able to pick up the bike next week at some point but I'm sure some of the above won't be available to fit just yet.
