Khrome Werks 2 1/2 priced reasonable and great sound, from what I read they are one of the best performing slip-ons on the market. I had them on my Sportster and now on my StreetBob.
Most of the harleys I've heard sound perty damn good--but for 250.00 the rush slip-ons will be hard to beat! I'm running the 2.25 on mine and happen to like them just fine. As others have said you can change the baffles for about 60.00 bucks or so.--my .2 cents.
I should add that the people at rush told me that you can run the 2.00 and smaller baffles with stock air cleaner without any other mods but they did not recommend the 2.25 unless you have some kind of fuel management.
Rush gets my vote, sounds great, and the money is right. Start with 2" and if they are not the right sound you can go down to 1.75" or up to 2.5". I don't think SE gives you a choice.
I just bought the V&H bigshot slip on's and love the sound. Thinking of adding the fuel pak and big sucker sometime this summer. Paid 225.00 for mine.
Bought a set of SEII's off of the forum here and love them. I am not sure I will ever get rid of them, OK that a lie,I still want my BUB JUGHUGGERS, but the SEII's sound great.
Cycle Shacks sound great and have good performance. They have been around since the 70's.
