After an agonizing self imposed journey; I have decided to go with the Big Shots Staggered on my soon to come Fat Bob. Through the many searches and reading I have done here, it seems most are pleased with these pipes (sound, volume, performance, etc.), I hope I will be also. What I have not found is a picture of and/or anyone saying they have them on a Fat Bob. The parts manger is investigating to see if they will work. I think I have a shot since the book shows "06 through 08 Dynas". We all know that the Fat Bob is a little different, but I hope they will work.
If anyone has them on a Fat Bob, please let me know and if possible I would love to see a picture.
They do fit I have just put them on sound awesome. Im painting my heat shields satin black I'm using a header paint from a company called eastwood. The painted heat shields you see now are a flat black to see if I would like it or not.
terrific and thanks. I hope they sound good (like you said) and are a somewhat loud (at least louder than the available slip-ons; rush is what I heard and they sound great, but I want a little more volume). If it is not to much trouble, could you take a look and see if the mid-control foot peg would work with the pipes? I'm getting forward controls, but was also getting the footpeg for the mid for an additional position on longer rides.
Vance & Hines Big Shots are a great choice... I lovethem and so does my entire
