I was thinking of installing Screamin' Eagle Slip on mufflers on my '07 wide glide. Is there a noticable difference in the sound? Does anyone have them and are you happy?

From what I've heard, there is not much noticeable difference in the sound. I have a neighbor that has them, he lives 2 doors down. I often see him leaving on his bike and can barely hear him. If I weren't watching, I probably wouldn't even notice by sound. With that said, may people seem to be perfectly satisfied with them - to each his own. But, if more sound is what you seek, look elsewhere, IMO.
I put those new SE mufflers on my 2007 StreetBob and they were too quiet. I modified them as you can see in this tread : https://www.hdforums.com/m_1726810/tm.htm The sound was much better. But after one season, I changeed them for a pair of old SE II. Now the sound is deeper and louder. It's perfect !
Currently have them. A little louder than stock and a little deeper tone. Never really liked the tone and volume (not deep enough or loud enou) Changing out for Rineharts tonight.
Some love'em, some don't. Suggest that you listen to different brands before you choose as there are many options.
I like mine, but they have had the fiber packing removed so they are deeper and louder.Fit and finish is very good.I bought mine half price, slightly used so they were a good deal.Personally Idon't like a lot of noise so I'm keeping them.
When I called the HD parts department to price slip-ons with them, the guy told me that SEs aren't really any louder than stock. He couldn't tell me much about the performance of them. I also called cycle shack, and found out that their slip-ons are
3" - 88 dB (not out yet)
2" - somewhere inbetween
1.75" - 92 dB
