Hey Guys
I'm after some opinions on Screaming Eagle slip on mufflers, what do they sound like, how loud are they and will they improve or decrease power and torque.I am currently running Bassani power curve headers with a stage 1 a/c and locally produced stainless steel mufflers ( sound like crap ) and the T/max with AT .The scoot runs really sweet except for the tinny sound. I,m about to head off on a week long ride with some mates in a few days and can only get the Sceaming eagle units in time before the trip.
SE IIs are great sounding slip-ons, Unfortunately HD has quit making them, and now only sell SEs which are EPA compliant and apparently not much louder than the stockers. I put V&H Ovals on my '07 UC and the sound is great, yet I can still hear the radio going down the interstate at 70 mph.
a little louder than stock....i have SE slip on for 1 week, and sell it.....not to impressed....now using thunderheader slip on.....sound what a hd should sound

Mine have 10000 miles on them and have opened up nicely. I still get pipe envy when riding in a group, but really like the sound when I'm on my own.
Same here. By 10,000 mi they are louder and have a little bark to them.
Still quiet when cruising around town. But under acceleration they are as loud as I care for, even with a helmet on, and I can hear them well on the interstate in 6th.
Will probably end up with something louder over the winter... pipe envy is right.
