Does any one have any ideas about how to get soft tail style floor boards & forward controlls onto a Dyna Fat Bob that already has forward controlls?
Don't know about the floorboards but I put Kuryakyn Dually pegs with stirrups on mine & really like them. I think they look better on the Bob than floorboards.

i SAW SOME THE OTHER DAY AT BROWNS IN DALLAS, THEY WENT ON THE SAME AS REGULAR PEGS, I THINK THEY WERE CUSTOME CROME, I AM GOING TO GET A SET FOR THE BACK OF BOB, GOING ON A ROAD TRIP AND THE OLD LADY WANTS FLOOR BOARDS. I THINK THEY WERE 59 BUCKS.
Hey 08fxdf Thats exactly what I want to do on my Fat Bob. Saw that there were some earlier police model Dynas that had foot boards and heel toe shifters. But, not sure if they would fit new Dyna's. In fact I saw a set for sale on eBay today....
On the first link at post #22 I posted a few photos of my take-off Fatboy floorboards mounted on my '05 FXDI. The first photo shows the Cycle Vision "Go Forward" mounts that I adapted to use on a Dyna vice Softail. I only had to drill and countersink one hole to make them fit. They work like a champ! Attached is illustration ....
I'm just about finished mounting the Dyna floorboard kit you mentioned to my 07 Street Bob. The brake side bolted right up. Shifter side ( heel/toe)bracket needed some modification but I have it working perfectly. Another option if you don'twant to use the heel /toe shifter is to use an extrended length shifter lever from the mid position spline.I bought one of these in case the modification to the shifterbracket did not work.
That said, not sure if the Fat Bob frame and the peg mounting positions are the same. Let me know if you want further detail.
