kind of hard to describe but i'll give it a shot. if you look at the end of the connecter you will see a orange and/or a gray colored plate. pry this plate off with a small pocket screwdriver and then underneath that you will see all the actual connecters. if you look closeley you will see a little lock tab holding each individual pin in place. you need to take the same small pocket screwdriver and while pulling slightley on the individual wire you need to lift up the lock tab on that wire andthe pinshould just slide out. make sure you make a diagram of where each individual pin goes. hope this helps you out.

Here are a couple photos courtesy of thebestofindcia

Here is the wedge sticking out.

Here is the connector with wedge removed. Notice the little tabs that you must pry down (sideways in this photo) to pull wire out.

Here is the pick tool I used. Made my life very very easy.

Here are the wires removed from deutsch connector.

I justtake one of the tools you use to clean the nozzle on spray guns to get connectors apart. The first time you may have to work with it until you find the spot that makes it release. After a doing few, you will get a feel for it and be able to pop em apart easily.
