I prefer the look of the Lindby multibar to what Harley offers. What other engine guards are you guys familiar with?

I don't like engine guards on any bike, but like a helmet, I like the protection the offer. Mine saved my *** last month and got bent in the process. I need to straighten them and get them back on ASAP.

I've got the Lindbar on mine. Some people think it looks great. Looks good with my Boss Bags as they sort of balance each other out though my Bob kinda looks like a baby bagger now (I need to post new pics). I had Chubby pullbacks and the HD turnsignal mirrors (matte black, look great) installed and my Indy followed me and my car back to the house and I kept thinking how cool the Lindy looked in my rear view mirrow. Never really looked at it from the front but it looked badass! Guess I'll leave it on.

I like my Lindbys and wont ride without them. I had them on my old Sportster and they will save you money in the long run if it falls over. They say they wont save you if you are movingbut that metal bar is a lot more forgiving than falling on your leg.

I have them and they have saved me from damage a couple of times. Once I slipped on some gravel and was able to ease the bike down rather than drop it. Another time I lowered it from my lift and the kickstand was not fully extended - it just eased on over with not even a scratch. They also hold some footpegs that are great for stretching out on long rides. However, like someone else said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I got the moustache bar on my DELUXE with the foot pads I personally had to use the bar once (don't ask) worked great no problem. Also I like the look. There are a lot of different bars out there do ur homework for a while and then decide. Its ur ride do what u want and what u think is best for YOU

IMHO they don't look right on a dyna but that's me. If the only issue is protection from dropping your bike then...don't drop your bike. Sounds simple but without the safety net of a engine guard you'll be a better rider and it's not like you drop your bike very week anyway...do you??? Wanna learn how not to drop you're bike? Get a custom paintjob...LOL then you'll never drop it.
