DYNA 2006 - what happend?
Hi, I found this document in french that say all the 2006 Dynas should change the "arbre de sortie " every 24000 and this should be free of charge.
I didn't received thisletter and my dealer says that my bike is not affected....

My inner primary bearing just went out at 13,000 miles. I purchased my Dyna used, therefore did not receive such a letter.
I found an English version of this letter here on the forums. I also found a later letter from Harley stating these maintenance steps were no longer necessary as outlined in the original letter. My bike is two months out of warranty.
I took a copy of the first letter to my dealer and they said they would replace the bearing and take care of the bill.

Yeah, the MoCo no longer offer to replace these bearings at 15,000 miles. Chances are though that it will fail long before then.
