\\;OK so due to some stuff I read on these here forums, coupled with my FatBob front brakes making a sort of rattley clicky noise when applied firmly , I sort of got into the habit of using my back brakes more than the front.now I started hearing a squeek sound at speed and found my rear B-pads were kinda thin andmy rotor \\;has a kind of gold tint to it. I Think i may have warped the rotor. Is there any way the motorco.will cover this for me if say i play dumb and tell them I brake with both evenly.i don't think they will cover the pads but i don't want to pay for the rotor and the time it takes them. BTW how much is a hd rotr cost. i called a lyndale dealer and the floating rotor is 295-he reccomends changing all three if any thing or else go with hd parts. Thanks guys.
They're not gonna pay for that...I was turned down for less. I had problems with the front brakes rubbing. \\;When I replaced the rotors (at my own cost) it stopped...they said everything was fine.
You can always ask if they will cover it.
Then be prepared for the LOOK.
After all, your riding style caused it.
How much mech experience do you have?
Changing a rotor and pads is easy.

\\; really? well i am meck inclined so describe what's involved for me please?
rotors and pads are very easy to do, no the HD warnt will not cover pads... you pull off the wheels, bolt on the new rotor, (loc-tite &\\; torque spec) toss in new pads and your golden!
