headlight went out....need help

have an 07 street bob, and all of a sudden my headlight went out, went to the hd house and got a new bulb but that doesnt fix the problem, anyone know what else i can check or do before i take it in for a warranty claim. thanks!!!

thanks ngoti.....the fuse fixed it....but now i just got front blinkers back on from the powdercoater and they turn on but wont blink.....anyone know what this may be?

did you install these with the battery still connected??!!....oops.

rounder thanks man, i checked but all fuses were good except the one. and yeah......i did install with the battery still connected, did i screw something up!!!???

You didn't screw anything up....except the fuses. The fuses did exactly what they were designed to do. Like sacrificial lambs, they protected your ECM from harm. Replace the fuses that were blown and ride on. Lesson learned for next time though. Always disconnect the Battery Ground cable before doing anything electrical on your bike. Good idea to disconnect the battery whenever doing anything with the fuel system, too. Gas fumes + electrical arc = very bad day.
