Wow, i've been looking at mine, and couldnt see how to get the 14 inchers on, I think thats the size I want, anything special used to bend the cables?
what about the break line?
Did you need a wire extention?

thanks , Eric

What you want, and what may be comfortable for you may be two different sets of bars. My local indy suggested this:

Sit on the bike.
Close your eyes.
Throw your hands out and let them come to a natural position.
Open your eyes and see where they landed.
Have a friend measure.
Repeat it a few times to see if you consistantly land in the same area.

It sounds kind of corny but it's a good idea. At least you won't spend money on something you won't like.

This is how I ended up with 16's.

I did the same thing when sorting out my bars.

It may also help to hold onto a broom handle or something like simulating a set of bars.

Then as stated, measure the heigth and also the amount of pullback...should get you some numbers to compare when picking out bars.
