Replacing 2002 Dyna Low Rider enrichener

Well, the cheap plastic knurled tensioner **** managed to break away from the threaded plastic portion. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix this. I do have the shop manual and although not much detail is offered on this it seems that I must remove the carburetor to disconnect the enrichener assembly. So if I do that, do I just order a whole new enrichener assemblyl from HD?

Any help will be appreciated,

carb off bike. assembly held on with one nut to carb. should be easy. Buy assembly from H-D. actually you may get away with just pulling the carb from the manifold. With the choke unattached from it's end location you probably can move the carb out from the engine enough to undo the nut and pull the choke assembly from the carb. Buy a new gasket for the manifold! Don't want to get any air leaks.

You can get just the cable from the dealer but more than likely they would have to order it - I just went through the same drama with My 03 FXD this summer - have Your local indy order one through the Drag Specialties catalog - only takes a couple of days and it's the same cable if not better - the Dealer would take alot longer . Also another option might be to get one of those really cool aftermarket "choke" ***** that come in all kinds of designs and finishes
