I used a small flat blade screwdriver. Like one you use for eyeglass repair. Just slightly pry on the tab and with your 3rd hand gently pull the wire from the back of the connector.

I sounds waaaay more complicated than it really is. Take your time and breath easy.

That's exactly what I used, eyeglass screwdrivers. Damn I learned a lot tonight. Both sides are on now. What a biotch it was.

Thanks to everyone who helped guide me through wiring up these bars. It was a pain in the *** but they're finally complete. Well, almost complete, one pin broke when we were putting the connector back together. Gonna have to crimp on a new pin. Also going to have to install the SE turn signal adapter to raise and move outward the signals. They hit the tank worse than with the old bars. If that don't fix it I may need to look into trading a 3" lift for a 2" from one of ya'll.

Here's a pic, can't wait to ride with them!

Nice work, it really looks sharp. I removed the turn signals before I did the tank lift because there wasn't much room to begin with. Be careful before you bang the tank...

noice work MT. Love the bars. How much rise in those?
As far as the turn sigs, I put mine on the trees, but there is a thread on the under fifty, that shows you how to tuck them up with the original mounts.

Good deal man.. Had to leave you on Friday and just now got back in to see what happened.. looks like you're still going to have to pull some wires if you relocate those signals, but now you've done it, no big deal... the first time is always a beast.. learning curve kicks in and you're a pro by now. that pro-one kit looks cool.

grooved or smooth.. nice options.

You dyna guys have options for getting those lights off the bars, including right out of the h-d catalog.. nice.. About all I could have done with my fatboy was pretty much go to a big light-bar or take them down low to the floorboards or something weird, which is one of the 50 reasons I never got around to doing the bars. Some guys did some diy setup on FL forks but it just looked strange I thought.
