Fat Bob Slip-On Options
I took her for about a 75 miles ride up in the mountains after I put the SE SPs on. Here are my impressions:
1. Volume at idle: Just slightly louder than the modified Street Bob mufflers.
2. Tone: Much deeper. These things rumble.
3. Volume at cruise: About the same as the modified SB muffs, but different tone. Again, a much deeper rumble.
4. Volume under hard acceleration: Surprisingly, these things have a bark to 'em when you roll on the throttle. When I put SE SPs on my Sportster, they had no bark on accleration whatsoever--just like stock muffs in that respect.
5. Seat of the pants dyno: Harley advertises a modest torque and HP gain with the SE SPs and I think I can definitely confirm that. Motor seems much smoother and "happier" now on the Interstate in 6th even down to 55-60 mph. Before, I never felt the engine actually lug in 6th at those speeds, but it wasn't smooth and happy. It preferred 5th at those speeds. Now, 6th at 55-60 is no problem. Smooth with plenty of pull.
That's my report on the SE SP slip-ons, FWIW.

Than being said, based on what you've posted that you're looking for, I think you would be pleased with the SE SP mufflers.
