I have a 2010 Fat Bob. I'd like to hear input on cycle shack slip-ons. I'm looking to add a little more noise to my stock bike and I just came accross them.
grog i have cycle shack tapered slip ons on my 2007 softail custom. they are much louder than stock, a nice low rumble. sets off car alarms when driving on narrow city streets. perfect setup for me. cheap. still retains the staggered look. make sure you get the 2 1/2 inch ones.
Hey Grog - I have cycle shacks on my 08 Fat Bob. I like really like them and think they are good for the money. As for the sound it's like helmet head said, they are a lot louder than stock (almost anything is) but still have a nice sound. I have ran them for a couple years and have not had any hassle from law enforcement but then I don't jump on it in town and try not to be obnoxious.
I like the Cycle Shacks on my Street Bob a lot more than the V&H slip ons (and a couple of different sets of baffles) I had before. Very beefy sound and the bike runs real strong with them.

I noticed that they have 2.5", 3" and 4". Looking at the Cycle Shack site it doesn't look like they have all the sizes in all types (if I'm reading it correctly). Why do you recommend the 2.5" ones?
When comparing to other like say Rush slip-ons, are the sizes referenced the baffle size? Reason I ask is the cycle shacks have bigger size reference.
grog keep this in mind when looking for slipons. if you hear a video of them make sure they are on a 10 and above wg or fb since they both have the same headpipe with the cat. if you listen to videos that are on a street bob or other bikes they have different headpipes and wont sound the same on your bike. most slipons whether rush, v&h, cycle shack they all pretty much sound the same on these because of the catalitic convertor in the headpipe. as well as they pretty much have the same style baffle.
