Ipb , been there do at 7800 miles, also had the injector issue, (8* on early models then changed to 25*), not had the stator problem, all bikes if you ride em you'll have stuff to fix..
pro's to 06, the year of the first bobs, first year for blacked out motor and denim paint, first year for 6 speed, the rest are all copies ... LOL
you can't go wrong with a Dyna, as good as anything else you can buy..
I had the IPB go but the parts are cheap and it's an easy fix if you can borrow the inner race extractor.
Still got the bolted rotor, 8 degree injectors plus the bonus with the european versions is that they didn't get O2 sensors. Oh, and the gearing is more appropriate. I'm happy.
I seem to remember somethig about the IPB (service bulletin, maybe) having to be inspected and/or replaced every 15,000 miles?(some buyers having to sign an aknowledgement letter about the problem) Or was that another bearing elsewhere on the bike? whatever became of that recall/problem or is this it? As far as the stator grenading , like someone else ask, can it be repaired before hand( new screws or having it welded instead of screws) or is replacing with a new and improved model the only fix? Thanks for the insite about possible problems guys. As far as buying a newer model ,I've got a certain amount of cash to buy outright and plan to stick to it considering I still have a job at the present time ,but time will tell within the next couple of months whether or not I'll still have one long (er) term. If it's paid for, keeping it even without a job won't be a problem buy adding a payment (even a small one) with these uncertain times is somthing I don't want to think or worry about .
