How many of you are running 2' baffles on a stock bike or have you had to add a tuner due to running to lean. I ordered the 2" baffles because I cant take the sewing machine anymore and and just want to make sure I'll have no problems until I complete the stage 1 upgrade.
I would get the 1.75 but like you said your will be getting a tuner so the 2.0 would do fine, i have the 2.0 with hd dl and ac,im glad they are coming off soon!!!! Good pipes for the cheap price of sound untill you can save up for better!
Oh and the chrome sux!!!! Doesnt flake yet!!!! but still sux!
It will be ok to just run those and stay stock but once you change the AC then you will need something done with the puter! Hd map ,programmer something! I wouldnt recommend the gay hd DL!
I just switched from SE ll to the 2 in Ruch and Im adding a PC-V I put the pips on it sounds better than the SE ll seems to run ok I have only taken it around the block though I do have the SE A/C and the flash from the dealer
2 inches I hear are fine!! when you go bigger then 2inch you'll need a efi tuner. I have the strightshots and it works great without a tuner with no popping on decel. I know with the rushes you'll get some popping on decel. My buddy had 1.75 inch and he had popping, but ran great without tuner or stage 1.

You did say you have a SE cleaner and the dealer efi flash, right?? That would get rid of the popping, my buddy didn't have that done. His 06 had 2" and the popped like crazy. On his 08 fatbob he put on the 1.75" and they popped. The bikes still ran good though and would have been better if he flashed his blike or got a tuner. That's just my experience with people I know with them. I know when you get the flash or tuner the popping goes away.

Oh and running to lean would happen if you upgraded the A/C without a tuner. Not so much a problem withslip ons.
my hd dealer says after extensive dyno trial they only reccomend rush/ 1.75 and leave all else stock. rush has the correct length and baffle size in combo with new systems. after that you can go less restrictvive system adds, a tuner and dyno time, approx $1400.00 worth and then may hav warranty coverage issues
