Hi to all,
Just signed up and here is my first question. I am converting my fwd. controls to mid controls. I found what I thought was all the parts on ebay. The brake side is done. On the left side after releasing the shifter spline from the hold down on the inner side of the primary chain case I find a boomerang shapped part attached to the shifter spline shaft which will connect to the shaft to the trans via a 6" shaft which I have. The travel of this part is stopped by the inner side of the primary chain case. Here's the question.... Do I need another part? Do I need to r&r the part and turn it around or over? The primary cover is coming off anyway for new gaskets as it leaks.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Sorry cant help with your question. It got too hard for me (left side) and I had the dealer do it for me.
Hi from So Cal, but why?? most goes the other way mid to forward controls?? I would have the dealer do it, I had the mid take off and forward on by the dealer, good luck
