Who gives a rat's f**k what other people think. If you want a windshield go buy one. You could always buy the Quick detachable one and put it on the bike for longer rides, or take it off for shorter ones.
Its the touring detachable its wider than the normal shield and fits the LowRider perfect even with the larger headlight. Part # 57015-06 I picked it up at Zannottis less than the dealer.
I NEVER road with a windshield untill i bought a HD low profile for my Street Bob. I hate the looks of it on the bike, but the difference in being less fatigued is worth keepin' it on.
You might try using a handlebar bag, it might redirect some of the air flow instead of a windshield.
For me, I'd rather deal some wind buffetting from the shield than have that constant wind blast.
for cryin out loud - get a detachable windscreen from Harley or Windvest. You can remove the damn thing when you get to where you're going or for around town if you want to look "cool". You're bitching about getting fatigued when riding long distances, but windscreens are for geezers? Give me a break. BTW - I ride with a Windvest and couldn't be happier. I don't give a **** what other people think.
date a chick bigger than you. You can sit on the passenger seat and let her drive you around. You won't look very cool but you won't have to worry about a winshield.
Call me a *****, whimp, or whatever.................don't give a ****. I love the results of having the windshield on after a long day in the saddle. You can tell the difference in the way you feel at the end of the day. Don't miss being hit by all the bugs and crap flying at you going down the road either!!
Was in the right place at the right time when a guy at a local chopper shop had a take-off from a sporty custom....First time I ever seen a "windvest" Nice and small so he put it on kinda fast on my 07 Bob and I took it for 100 bucks......
Got it home did a little better fitting it and I won't take it off at ever......
At 80 mph there is a huge difference and that's the speeds my buddies drive...
Doesn't even look bad....New pictures coming soon as all this effin snow melts !!!
