Sounds like their component may very well be a good solution to this issue.

Just got off the phone with them
and it does sound like they are producing a high quality piece.

Time will tell.

89 bux, so the price is right.

Said a few weeks for the front
rear to follow soon after, although the rear is not such an issue.

Shoot, $89 is cheep enough. I bought my front mount from Cicago HD, don't remember what I paid for it but if these were out then I would have went that way. The vibes never bothered me but they did bug my wife. She sould be real comfy now that she has floorboards, a big *** seat and a nice wide sissy bar pad to lean on. She's good to go for the once or twice she graces the back of the bike.

How hard is it to replace the front motor mount?

Just jack up the motor to get the weight off, correct?

Any issues with alignment to take into account?

Ill check back in a month - if anyone grabs beofre I do, please post so we know

Ive always been an advocate of poly bushings vs standard oem rubber - whether in auto or now on bike

This doesnt mean Id rather have a rigid mount motor in my hot rod or ride a softail - it just means Id prefer less movement over stock in both cases - lending itself to an improved performance ride - and that dont mean I want a crotch rocket either

Ive now been on three or four threads related to this topic (mostly because it HAS been a problem for me directly) and theres always guys tht chime in about there not being a probelm

If you dont want to change YOUR mounts, dont! To me, theres been no question mine failed long ago, and will likely continue to fail because of a design flaw that the MOCO has no reason to change - fortunately there is an aftermarket for this very reason.

Urethane is a terrible isolator, you'll end up with the same vibs with the new urethane one as with the worn one and the urethane usually separates from the metal shell. Take a new mount and fill it with the elastomer used to seal windshields and you'll probably be better off. We used to do this with the engine mounts on the turbo Cruiser and neon srt and others, urethane just beat the crap out of the mounting and some/most tore out of the body. The elastomer fills the whole mount but is still pliable and still isolates the vibration effectively, really helps keep it from sagging. I am going to try it when I get a new mount, as I need a new one too. The stock mount is going to wear and there is not too much you can do. What really needs to be produced is a rubber mount with a higher durometer (sorry, brain fart, I can't think of the correct term) rubber, one that does not brake down as easily. Just a thought to this dilemma, I just don't think urethane is the answer.

Can someone please post the latest P/N for the front mount on 06' up, Thanks.

this was Expys original thread that has a lot fo good info for the stock replacement with pics of the differences

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...ixed-pics.html

this is part number posted in his link for 07 fxd, but pretty sure it covers 06 up if not mistaken (weorht noting - MOCO doesnt admit to anydesign change or part number change - though if you look at Expys pics, it appears there is some change - possibly with different factories making it??)

Not hard at all. Support the engine weight by jacking the engine up just enough that the bolts come out fairly easy.

I only know of one alignment issue. When you have the new mount on the motor, and the bolt holes in the frame lined up, if there is a gap between the mount and frame, you need to add washers to fill the void. If you just put the bolts in and torque it down, you will get nasty vibes there too.
