Default What about bob?

Looking at getting my first bike. Was leaning towards the Low Rider but now the Street Bob has really caught my eye. Anyone have any pros and cons on the two or personal preferences? Most of my riding would be back and forth to work (25 miles one way - highway) and recreational.

Any info would be appreciated.

It ends up being personal preference. Try them both and see which one you like. THey are both great bikes. I chose a 2004 Low Rider because it had the chrome I like and was nimbe enough for a first time bike for me.

I liked the feel of the bike and the look of the bike.

Good Luck!

I would just look at the color wheel options, decide on what bar of the two you like best even though you might change them. Then look to see what is available and you get the best deal on.

The Low Rider comes set up for two up if thats an issue. The bikes are two great bikes. I do like my Low but its far from stock. I would rent or at least test ride both models.

Good Luck

I just moved from a Sporty 883L (my first HD) to a Street Bob. Haven't had a chance to put many miles on it yet, but it's a pretty nimble bike that rides much smoother than the Sport with more power and comfort. As others have said, it comes down to what you like better, and if you can test ride them, do it.
