Rush mufflers, Check Engine light.......?
I just finshed installing a set of Rush mufflers on my 08 Fat Bob in place of the V&H SS. I used the stock headers and i couldnt be happier with the installation. Hassle free and easy. Job done in an hour tops. Bike runs great, sounds perfect. Brought the noise level down a notch and gave it a more deep throaty growl. Noticed the check engine light comes on every time i start the bike for a few seconds and then off again. It doesnt come on right away, its like a minute after i start the bike and as i sit there warming her up, the light flashes on and then off in less than 30 sec. Any thoughts?

that is letting you know you fuel pump is priming... you should turn on the key... after that light goes OFF, then you can start your bike... you have to let the pump prime or you will burn it out...

My local indy said its probably a history code and will go away eventually. I just dont want to be causing any long term damage to my engine. Thankfully there r no leaks, i checked thoroghly and nothing appears to be leaking.
