To anyone running this pipe.... How do you like it, and how well does it perform ? I have been trying to scrape enough extra cash for a 103" and it aint going to happen anytime soon. So, I'm going to just do the stage one for now. I thought I wanted the thunderheader, but recently have been reading a lot of good about the P.P. And I figured I'd ask all you professionals

Reason: Dang keyboard spelling words wrong again !!!
Fit & finish is nice & they make good power! I don't like the sound cause it's not very deep (tinny), but that's why I have a thunderheader (fu**in deep)! Tinny aint a bad sound, just not the sound I like!
The pro pipe is definetly a good pipe. its sound might be a bit mellow but
once you open it up you're going to hear it for sure, sounds bit**n.
Once you do your 103 with a cam set-up it will sound louder and with a nice idle.
As far as quality goes my pipe still looks like the day i installed it. you can score
some good deals on ebay for one also.
Had a Pro-Pipe for a while. Didn't like the sound or looks even though it performs real well. I originally had Bigshots & they sounded great & performed pretty good too. I got the Pro-Pipe used for a good price & I could tell it was better on the low end torque than the Bigshots which I sold to a neighbor. I never could get used to the tinny, wimpy sound of the PP or the 2-1 look so I went to stock headers & Cycle Shack slip-ons. Now I'm happy. Good performance & the bike sounds the way a Harley should.
Thunderheaders sound great too & are a good performing pipe.
I have put on about 600 miles with mine now and I great. Was riding with friends last weekend and they said riding behind my bike the new pipe sounds good.
I'm more concerned with low end tq., than anything. Of course sound is somewhat important too. Looks are subjective I suppose. I waffle back and forth between liking the way it looks and not liking it. Same way with the thunderheader. Basically I feel that way about all 2 into 1 pipes .
a guy I ride with has one on his Fatboy and I HATE the sound of that thing. I'm not too keen on the tapered look, either. His baffle fell out riding through town one time... holy snit what a gawd awful racket! I've heard good things about the D&D Fatcat...
i bought the propipe bp,the thunderheader looked to cheap made to me,looks like something homemade by a muffler shop mech. the propipe looks better, sounds better. several dyno tuners have said there"s only about 2hp difference between any of the 2in1s,choose the one that looks and sounds best to you. + the thunderheader has a trq dip from hell,i"d rather have slipons.
