Drill a 1/8 hole under the clamps and put 1/8 rivets in the holes. You'll never have the problem again. Mine ALMOST did that once. I just happened to notice them shaking loose. HD should have attached them to the frame somehow. They had their head up their *** when they built those bikes I think.
My SuperTrapps came with small pegs and instructions to drill holes for them under the clamps. Now I know why! They were still there last time I looked....
