oh,

3) how hard is it to take the wheel/caliper and all that good stuff off? is it a process or is it pretty simple? I am a complete newb learning on the fly here!!

hey if this process works for wheels im attacking my rims full force... ive had a strong desire to customize them for a long time now but my pay isnt enough to get it professionally done

Looks pretty sharp. The only issue I personaly would have would be that I ride 130ish miles to and from work a day. So to take a week for my daily driver would be tough, but it looks pretty bitchin'.

It doesn't take a week, just couple hours for prep and paint, then a good 24 hours before riding.
So, you can do it The Shute, just a weekend.

Just finished mine. look great, easy to do just take your time for prep, and no more than 30 mn for paint.

Hey Joe, when doing the epoxy work does the ambient temp matter? Does it matter if it's cold when I do it?

It's winter, I'm bored, I saw this thread so I decided to go ahead and epoxy paint my lower legs.

I think I put my socks on too soon because now they're stuck & I can't get them off!

Believe it or not this happens all the time , ,,,Your going to have to take a hand grinder and go all the way down to the first layer of skin,Then repeat steps in op...
