Default Some new mods...

A couple of weeks ago I got my new V&H Big Radius exhaust and got that installed. I like the way they look.

Today I got my HD front turn signal relocation complete. It wasn't too bad. At least not after I finally figured out how to depin the connectors. It was very simple to depin but took me awhile to understand exactly how to do it even though I had the service manual open, reading how to do it. Some say the HD relocation kit makes them stick out too far, but I like it.

I sprayed some clear coat over the black base coat on my spoiler I bought on ebay. That project is not going quite as planned. Once I sprayed on the clear it turned kinda milky. Most of that went away as it dried but there are still some spots that are pretty rough and kinda white speckly looking. Not sure where to go from here. I may try sanding it smooth and shoot it black again and re-clear coat it. I was really hoping it would turn out better.

My new SE fork brace should be here Tuesday, so I'll be installing it. Man have I spent some money on this bike lately! But it's beginning to look like I want it to.

I screwed up my clear on the first attempt too. I scuffed it, cleaned it and re-cleared it. It wasn't milky thought, just runs and orange peel.

Your ride is lookin good.

Don't sweat it, try wet-sanding it before starting from scratch. Or you can try Harley (Mcguire's or any other) rubbing compound. A lot of times that's worked for me.
