Default rear blinker removal?

Does anyone know how the wires pull out of the connectors on the rear blinkers?

I have an 06 SB Dyna and I have to put the blinker extention kit on mine to put on the removable sissybar. The wires don't come out of the blinker itself, they are soldered into the light bulb housing. What you have to do is unplug it from the tail light and pull it out of the fender. You may still have to cut the wire if you want to remove the blinker standoff.

No point in cutting wires. Unplug the connector from the board in the tail light and look at it closely. The wire end is held in place by a plastic tab that can be lifted with a small jeweler's screwdriver or similar (flat tip is the key) inserted in the female end of the connector and on top of the wire. It's visible from the slotted top of the connector if you look close. It can be a PITA because it takes three hands to make it easy. It's all in the service manual with good pictures if you can look at one.
