Default Security System Question

I was looking at my Bike. And by the fuse I came across a Delphi Module. I am asumming that this is the system. The dealer never gave me a key FOB. Or told me about it. How can I make sure that it has one before calling the dealer? Where do they put the siren?? Maybe if I find that then I will know. Any and all helpp will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you paid for one, you should have gotten TWO fobs.

The standard system (which is an option) does not come with a chirper/beeper. That is a 75 buck extra that you can put on yourself in less than 5 minutes.

Look in your owners manual. there is a section about the security system. In there it will tell you how to work it without a fob.

Ok, I tried it and got 1 flash. Which means there is none. Now my question is this. In the fuse box I found a Module that says Delphi, Warning orientation critical do not relocate part. This part looks just like the one on page 752 of the big accessories catalog. Is this a fake module that they put in. Or is it a real one that need to be programed?? According to the bike it has none, with only one flash of the turn signals.

OK figured it out. It's the EFI Module. Looks just like the Security one I guess. Also does anyone know if they do anything with the Mapping on the 1000 mile check?? I have the SE2 and Stage 1. When I was riding after I picked up my bike it was way different. Like someone flipped the switch. I just can't beleave how much crisper it responds and the power. Night and day. I brought my own Amsoil and filter to my appiontment. Not sure if they liked it or not. But they dropped 60 bucks off the deal. After I road home as it was snowing. I decided to go get a windsheild tomarrow. Any good suggestions?? Thanks you've all been alot of help so far.

They don't remap the bike unless you tell them to. They may have done it with you telling them because you did the Stage I during the 1,000 mile service (I'm guessing). I would ask them when you get that new windshield.

These bikes have a TSSM (turn signal security mod.) OR a TSM ( turn signal mod.) depending on if you have a security system or not, , Hope this answers your question.
