what do you guys think my chances are of being able to just bolt a 2010 WG fender on my '07 SG? I talked to my dealer and found out that for $245 I get a vivid black fender I think it would be a cool mod if it works...
The 2010 WG has the wider struts like the FB so the fender will be to wide.
damn, thats what I was worried about, I think I will just have my to mod my fender, I do like the way the stock SG fender looks with the break light and license plate removed and filled
How wide is the new Wide Glide fender? The Street Glide fender I mounted on my bike was almost an inch wider than the stocker. It was snug but bolted up. Only mod was to grind down a raised boss on the inside of the strut on the rear bolt to make some room. I also used some thin washers behind the strut covers to keep them off the fender.
