Hello,
I can't figure out whether I want to leave my new pipes Chrome as they are or black them out like my previous ones...
Look at my sig and give your opinion.

Also there are (better/ Bigger) pics of before and after in my gallery.

If you leave them chrome, your rocker boxes would look sweet chromed. (And I bet you could probably straight trade someone who wants a set of wrinkle black covers.)

I think black pipes look great on a bike with a silver motor. I like the contrast of light and dark. That being said, with a black motor I'd go with chrome pipes again for the contrast.

That's what I was thinking sonny, but damn I normally can't stand chrome!
But again I do love the V&H BSS's

+1 I feel the same way. Stay chrome for the contrast.

Black pipes on a bike with a black motor (especially a black bike) is just plain black. It's easy to go overboard with the blacking out thing. I think the nicest looking bikes are a combination of black and chrome. Here is the thread specifically about them. I'm having my pipes thermal coated black. Hoping to have it back by Tuesday.

The fairing is actually on a vrod right now.
Good eye though.
still looking to replace the triple trees so I can move the headlight.
