i got the bike back they claim they went over the whole bike and tightened all the heat shields then took it for a ride and the noise they heard was gone. i do notice a difference but its not completely gone. this is my first harley so im not sure if its just a normal sound or not. i do know that harleys are noisy

wow i 2 will keep looking out for this thread case i 2 have the same problem .
mine got real hot yesterday on the 101 had to pull over i couldn't take the heat let her cool down for a bit but it was a very loud pinging going on home
and today have notice that my drive train seem to slap-jerk when at a steady speed not smooth
