I was in at the local dealer yesterday talking to the sales rep who had a 103 done on his bike, now he says it's really fun to have, but the automatic price he popped out for me was 2500+TX. Then I told him I already have my 2/1 pipes, heavy A/C and pcV and he says that would save me 400$, so 2100 +TX=2352$ for a streeet legal 103 done at the dealer. Which in case of breakdown would at least be worked on by any official H-dealer anywhere.
Whaddaya think?
Keep in mind these prices are Canadian $ prices and I just have to deal with that! Give me your ideas in US currency if you want I'll just run them and find what I need to know!
No replacement for displacement. Maybe I am biased, but I am very very pleased with my 103 build which was done when I bought the bike new B4 I took her home. No issues......yet.
It will awaken the anemic output from the stock 96".
I do my own aswell but I trust my Indy and he charges a reasonable price for great work.
I'm running a 103 with Ross 10.5-1 pistons, My own heads, S&S crank & rods, 58mm intake, Bosch matched injectors, Thunder header, K&N AC, Andrews 55HG cams, SERT, Fulleing oil pump and cam plate, Jims Roller rockers and big wheel lifters.
Man that sounds like a nice 103, I bet it scoots. My only regret is using the SE jugs and Pistons. Might change them out this winter if I get bored, but it runs so strong as it is and is pushing over 100/100.
buy the parts from Zanottis for >650 shipped. Install should be ~9 hrs. Use the Stg2 download (150) to save tuning $. I just did mine for 1800 total and it really feels good. Just do it!

those are big numbers for a 103 with 55s,your getting 30 more h.p. than anybody else, whats your secret???? xsquid ran 10.90@120 with his 103, maybe both ya"ll could post those time slips, and we could see which bike is faster. p.s. xsquids dyno sheet showed 102 h.p.
