Look at the numbers the 96's and 103's make and you will see that even though they have quite a bit of displacement advantage over 88's and 95's they arent making quite as big of a power difference as one would think.

Thanks! Yep, that was my first build. I have to give a ton of credit to the shop/guy who did the machine work and porting. He guided me through the head/cam selection process. He also assembled the cases for me since he had it all there doing the welding and timken upgrade. I am pretty happy with the results. It runs good and the bottom end is pretty stout so it should last a long time...at least untill I go 107"
