3 weeks ago my right shock top bolt had sheared off and left everything a mess including both shocks one was leaking and both rubber o-rings on top of each shock were twisted i called progressive about my mishap they said i needed a receipt for warranty well i told them bought them like 2 years ago and on ebay and paid by money order and did not have the receipt but did not install them until i bought everything else i wanted and to be put on in one shot , so their practically new and really only have 6,000 miles well Progressive gave me the ok to send them back and see what they can do for me but they weren't going to promise me anything well almost 3 weeks later i got them yesterday with a reciept would have been $178.00 plus the plus the shipping they did not charge me for anything i also had bought all brand new hardware for both sides so all in all it cost me $18.00 to ship them back and $59.00 for all new hardware i had to buy one spacer that fell off that was like $38.00 and i bought the 4 screws and one nut ( right side lower only gets it ) just in case there was stress cracks in the bolts that you can't see , lesson i learned watch out for ever little bump and pot hole and to check my shock bolts before riding , if the other one ever came off while riding who knows what would have happen , , UPDATE i had a friend come today and their both on again took it for a ride and what a difference like new again who's know's how long i was riding around with a broken bolt and leaky shock , i learned a lesson make sure i really look out for pot holes ( if that what caused it ) and to check my shocks bolts before the day begins ( and during ) !
Got me to thinkin' on my progressives in the back of my bike. Sure as heck, went out to check 'em over......got a seeping-weeping seal on the left side.
Had it on the machine less than a year. Guess I will mozey on over to the dealer soon and get it sorted out... I put them on, but bought them from my dealer.

The people at Works are very helpful, I ended up going with a slightly used set of OEM's on my FXDX but if I have any problems, I will be getting the Works. The Works shocks are rebuildable.
