Battery bolts on my '99 FXDWG are M6 x 16 but the heads are serrated flange, with an 8mm across-the-flats hex. The bolt head also has the ability to use a #2 Phillips screwdriver. When I installed a new battery, I transferred these bolts to retain the ability to "wrench" these bolts using either tool. The new battery was supplied with conventional 10mm across-the-flats hex bolts, but I like the original bolts better. Not sure if there is a H-D part number for the flange bolts I have.
