Default Want some baby apes.

Anybody know where to find the listed stock length for cables and brake lines?
I want to put some 10'' apes on my '09 FXD but don't want to remove the stock ones until I have all the parts to do the new bars.

Lots of guys change out the mini apes to taller sizes. Take-off cables should be readily available and make it simple.

If this is not what you want, here are some charts from Harley's website which should help you buy the correct length cables:

Okay, I'll look into that.
I did see that the Street Bob has the bars setup like I would like to have.
Guess I just need to find someone that has switched to either apes or drag bars and would like to get shed of their stock stuff.

I have an '09 FXDC and put on some stock '09 Street Bob bars that I got from a guy on this site. Looks friggin awesome! I get compliments all the time and they are way more comfortable than the stock bars. I picked up the bars and cables for $80. Do it, you cant go wrong! Don't have pics yet, but I have seen others with this setup on this site. Maybe they will chime in.

Because I am short 16'' is too tall for me.
But the stock buck horns are too low for my short reach and I tend to lean on them and that hurts my wrists and upper back.
I also live on a fixed income from SSI so I don't have a lot of money to spend, thus the search for take offs.

Did you try repositioning bars by loosing top clamp, I did mine, had to also reposition/rotate brake & clutch levers.
