hard time finding neutral.....why????

My guess is that you had forward controls installed and you did not use the longer lever that comes with the kit, because mine is hard to find neutral and I installed the forward controls and I used the original lever, and now I can't install the longer lever without taking off the primary cover again, not enough room.

Mine was hard to find neutral from the beginning and after my 1k service, it was still hard and that was switching to synthetic. When it was time for my 5k I did it my self and switch to all three holes to AMSOIL. I put 75/140 severe gear oil and now I have no problem finding neutral and I didn't even adjust my clutch yet.

Recently had the same problem, but I thought I was just a doofus until I was at a bike fest and my old Rider's Edge instuctor borrowed my bike for one of the bike games. Afterwards, he mentioned about it being hard to get into neutral & that it might need a clutch adjustment. Sure enough, he was right. No more problems.
