I am considering lowering my 07 Street Bob 1 inch front and rear and am curious if any members could suggest a relatively inexpensive route. I've seen the Burly Slammed kit that others have used on their bike.
While I really like the look I'm not sure I want to give up the handling capabilities of the stock ride. There have been previous posts to links for companies that sell lowering blocks for the rear and I'm sure I could find a good drop in set up for the front.
burly sell rear lowering block. And progressive or burly drop in lowering kit for the front. Less than 200 bucks for both front and rear. Lowering a bike will compromise your handling and ride quality a bit.
SEnd the seat to Mean City Cycles, it will feel lowered without any loss or noticeable change in handling. Anywhere from $40 to $300 depending on what you want done.

Thanks. Any idea how much handling you loose dropping the bike an inch vs. 2 inches?
