Street Bob tank conversion complete!!

Well, I finally got it done !! Got my Street Bob tank back from paint and installed...The conversion cost a little more than I expected but well worth it.. Will take better pics after I get the bike cleaned up..

I know I might be asking alot but.... can you detail what it took to make that conversion!? At lease give the bigger obstacles ie. wiring!

I always wanted the tank speedo!!

BTW.... SWEET!

tank : ebay $200.00
Dash with speedo and indicator lites from a forum member : $150.00 (speedo only has 600 miles on it so I will get most of my money back on it by selling on Ebay

)
Piant: a steal at $125.00 local guy did it for me..
Bought the street bob console wiring harness from Zanotti : # 70472-06 $106.00 (ouch)Could have made mine work but its simple plug and play this way..
Fuel tank seal : #75248-04 $18.60
Sealing screws: #1331 , 12 @ $1.50 = $18.00
$617.60 total
was an easy swap .. less than 2 hours work

Now I have a complete FXD tank, including fuel pump, dash and fuel gauge to sell on Ebay as well.. hopefully I will get $300.00-$400.00 for it all..
after I sell my extra parts on Ebay it wont have been a very exspensive mod at all

I like your heel and toe shifter ...

great job on the mod ... I did mine about 9 months ago using a FXDL tank but the FXDB console ...

I think my cost came in just a little less, but didn't get mine professionally painted ... I reused my fuel pump ...

was able to recoup some of the outlay by selling my take-off tank ....
