+1 Double nut as described above... if you can get a drill in where you would need to drill, and keep it straight and center to use an ez out, without pulling the top end off, you're one hell of a wrench!!
save yourself some trouble and forget the EZ out - Jims Tools has a drill guide that bolts onto the good stud, keeping everything aligned and nice so you dont fugg up anything else - the studs are hardended and a very tight exhaust thread
Snap On make a real stud extractor. It fits over the stud and has a locking cam inside that tightens on the stud as you twist the extractor. This is the real way to get it out. And you should use a little heat with it. This method works 99.9 % of the time.
Also EZ outs are junk and should only be used as a last resort

For future reference, which Snap-On stud extractor are you referring to? I just looked on the Snap-On website and there are all kinds.
